God. I've been following since like. May ish I wanna say? Chapter 8's launch? or maybe chapter 7 but right before 8. Anyway I absolutely adore your writing style, and your characterization is so solid like they are characters i can really get invested in. The plot is so intriguing, and I love the logistics of magic and the supernatural in your world building - explained just enough to make sense and show that there IS a logic behind it, but mysterious enough that it's like a scientist going " yea we don't know why it does that yet. crazy lol" anyway i can't wait (I can take your time and don't push yourself) for more, I'm grabbing every project with my teeth and shaking my head like a dog
AHHHHH IT WAS SO GOOD!! this book is phenomenal, and i am super excited for book 2. considering how "short" it is, the world building is excellent. nothing is shoved down your throat and all the info is fed to the reader at a reasonable pace while also mixing in good moments with ROs and plot pieces! (p.s., erebus is my baby)

Found a bug. In chapter 10, upon waking up after the inciting incident for the chapter, the spade option is bugged out in this dialogue option. I think it's just missing 2 closed square brackets near the end of the spade line.

lmao, the next chapter is releasing in like next 2–3 days, and you gave me a reminder of how invested I was in the story, it's not rambling if we enjoy it, then it's just speaking openly and freely.
I have a theory! Ever since the Shadow King was introduced, it felt like the MC was connected to him somehow. After the most recent chapter, I have enough evidence to make a proper theory!
SPOILERS / POSSIBLY SOME INACCURATE INFORMATION The theory is as follows: The Shadow King had a forbidden relationship with a Seelie, conceived the MC, and we were sent away for our own good. It would explain why we couldn't remember anything when Carter found us -- I speculate that the Shadow King did something to erase our memories. Also, this a bit of a stretch, but it would also explain why the king hasn't been to the court in 50 years. Perhaps, the last trial was the Seelie's, and, at the cost of her life, he denied any involvement with her. The king seemed wistful at the end of the recent chapter, possibly regretting his actions at the last trial. Another stretch, but perhaps the Kestrel was a childhood (we aren't given his exact age but I'm assuming he's around ours) friend. This one is much less plausible since I'm going off of one line in our first encounter with him. (something about how he looks familiar???)
