It has nothing tl do with updates. Be careful using the in browser saves. Theyre saved to your local storage and if you delete your cookies or empty the cache or if your settings do it automatically those saves will disappear
To avoid this problem choose "save to disk" and your save file will save on your actual device
Glad I found this! Very interesting premise and I enjoyed the characters a lot -- but honestly: More than anything - I freakin Loved my MC. Don't know if it was intentional or not, but it felt like some Serious coding was put into just -- developing/tracking who they are, personality-wise, as you go. More than once, I was straight out lawl-ing at my sarcastic, baby Carter (almost wrote 'Cowboy Carter' XD) just being a witty butt who cares too much like her fah-ver.
Because I know no other way: It doesn't surprise me I ended up on the Z(ora) route. (Literally)Everything telling me NOT to be with this super stoic, obvious risk-for-me person? SIGN ME UP
Very much a slow burn given we're at chap 8 (and the end of the 1st book!), but I do hope for some kind of Big PUSH between MC/Z. I don't mind a realistic wait; but it felt like something significant was unlocked in Z in 8 that should give big returns in near future. (like that stoicism crumbling into itty bitty bits and Bold happening 👀) It's so hard to read Z and how they feel about MC (- want? shy? desperate? terrified?), everything hits so much Harder when it *does* show. Genuinely hope 9 gives us something juicy~ We've Earned it, haven't we, dear author? ;)

lmao if you click the "save to disk" option, it'll save a file to your device and you can do that to your heart's content. Im not sure if it works the same way on mobile though

I enjoyed going through this so much! The characters are so well written and the MC is also quite lovable! I love our grumpy Dad and the romance interests. But goodness you wrote The Kestrel so well that I just have no idea how to deal with them aside from throwing myself at them even if that is a bad idea haha! I am down bad send help!
But I also adore R! The playfulness and lax attitude is always a welcome sight especially during moments when they show their soft side. GAH. So GOOD!!
The way you wrote the supernatural and everything in it is just wonderful. I am SO intrigued especially since we're tackling with things that I have always been so fascinated about! GOSH. I NEED MORE AND I SHALL WAIT EAGERLY FOR MORE!

Hi! I have a question but imma start off by saying that so far i love this game SO MUCH, i LOVE the vibe here, it really stirs something withing me, the setting the characters, really. And i have been waiting for the next chapter upload, I'm not sure if i played the 7th ine, or the 6th one. Anyway, i didn't play for some time and when i saw the chapter 7th released i wanted to see if its a new one or i played it, but when i went to my saves there were none. I remember saving my progress for sure, but i don't know why its gone now and i have to start from the very beginning. Did anyone else have this kind of situation? Is there anyway to bring back my progress? (Pls help, im too impatient to start over again the whole thing😃)

Do you mean saves to your browser (hitting save and then just clicking one of the numbers slots)? Because those get erased when removing cookies or clearing out a browser session (as far as I know). In order to prevent that, when you hit save, go down to the bottom of the save window where it says "Save to Disk". This will save it to your actual device. Next time when you start the game, just go to the saves and hit "Load from Disk", this will give you the option to select the save from your files. (For me, my saves usually go into my downloads folder.)
(And as far as I know, it's not possible to get the saves back. I'm sorry.)
